Samsung

Samsung is ruling the mobile market all over the world. Presently it is the leading smartphone company globally. In Q2 2017, the Samsung market share was 22%.

Point to Ponder

Clearly, Samsung is the leader in terms of its sales, performance, and market share but in 2017 there was not much growth in the sales of Samsung. Galaxy S8 and S8+ did good but the sales of mid-range J and A series of Samsung phones declined which is a point to ponder for the company.

  1. This is very inaccurate. The third/ potential second leading company is BKK Electronics, going by phones this would be accurate, by brands this is far from it. BKKL own Oppo, VIvo and oneplus, This puts it just behind apple with a total market share with at least 13% but more likely around 16% surpassing apple.

  2. West cannot digest Huawei’s popularity USA, New Zealand, Australia and other all going against the company
