Android Go is the lite version of OS launched by Google during the end of last year in order to boost the performance on entry-level smartphones which has 1GB or less RAM. The Samsung Galaxy J2 Core is a 5-inch display handset loaded with 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage with 2600mAh battery. The phone sports 5MP front shooter and 8MP rear camera. Samsung has priced the model at less than $100 which is a big bargain for the low-end smartphone market.

Samsung is now developing more products in this category with enhanced performance and competitive pricing. The Samsung Galaxy A8 Star was launched in China and Korea in the first half of the current year, the phone is expected to enter the Indian market soon.

Samsung Galaxy A8 Star is equipped with 660 Snapdragon SoC along with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage, sports a 6.3-inch display, the phone has remarkable shooting ability as well with the 24MP+16MP dual rear camera and 24MP front selfie camera.

While focusing on high-end market and new foldable trends, Samsung’s focus on low-end budget market reflects its strategy not to ignore a big chunk of budget market in Asian and South Asian regions along with some European market; Samsung is now focused on not providing enough room for Chinese smartphone makers that have already snatched a big market share from older players.
