Samsung Reduced Price of S9 and Few Other Smartphones in Pakistan

Samsung conducted a press conference in the provincial capital of Lahore, in the press conference the company made an announcement that it has decreased the prices of some of its significant phones, which includes the most recently launched Galaxy S9 and S9+.

The conference was held at the Hafeez Centre in Lahore. The new pricing structure of some of the smartphones of Samsung were unveiled. Fakhar Zaman—Ambassador of Samsung who is also a cricket star, disclosed the new pricing strategy as well as met with the media people and retailers at the famous—Packages Mall in Lahore, as per the reports.

Samsung has phenomenally reduced the prices of Galaxy S9, Galaxy J7 Core and Galaxy A8. The prices have been decreased as low as Rupees twelve thousand (Rs 12,000). The price of Galaxy S9 has been decreased from Rupees one lac three thousand to Rupees ninety-one thousand, the price of Galaxy J7 Core has been reduced to Rupees twenty-two thousand from Rupees twenty-six thousand nine hundred and ninety-nine and the price of Galaxy A8 has been decreased from Rupees sixty-two thousand nine hundred and ninety-nine to Rupees fifty-six thousand nine hundred and ninety-nine. Other significant phones would also be witnessing a reduction in their prices.

The Head of Mobile Division—Samsung Pakistan and Afghanistan—Mr. Umar Ghumman said that Samsung has taken a major and risky step in the scenarios when the price of US dollar is increasing in strength and has got an advancing trajectory. Samsung has taken a thoughtful decision to not put any impact of this hike on the consumers and thus have decided to decrease the prices of all its smartphones.
