Apparently, the design looks quite similar to its predecessor Samsung Galaxy S8. The premium glass and metal is almost duplicate of S9. The placement of fingerprint scanner is better. The scanner is now located to below the camera sensor from below it. When the screen is off, the phone gets darker. The SIM and microSD card tray is right at the top edge. The headphone jack is still included in the base.
Design of Samsung Galaxy S9
The screen of Samsung S9 is exactly the same as that of S8, so there are no surprises. There is the Infinity Display feature again, which makes sure that almost 90% of the screen front is the screen. The screen of the phone with curved edges provide a great movie watching experience.

Samsung’s tagline for S9 was ‘The camera. Reimagined.’ And yes the phone is all about the camera.

If we say that Camera is the focal point of S9, it won’t be wrong. The rear 12MP camera is just amazing. The dual-aperture technology allows the camera aperture to expand and contract as per light levels, much like a human eye.
The slow-motion video capture feature has been improved. The frame rate is increased to 960fps.

This feature was introduced in Galaxy S8 camera app but it has been made better in S9. A live translation mode is part of the feature that points camera at a text in a foreign language and via this feature, it is translated into your local language.
