Google is shutting down Google Hire in 2020, as revealed by Google. Google Hire, the job app tracking system was launched two years back and now Google has decided to close it by 2020.
When Google introduced this service ‘Google Hire’, 2 years ago, we at Researchsnipers told our readers about it, The aim of Google Hire was to ease the hiring process by integrating different features including searching for applicants, scheduling the interviews, giving timely feedback relating to potential hires in Google’s G Suite i.e. Search/Gmail/Calendar/Docs, etc.
Google Hire was developed for small and medium-sized businesses and the price of the system on a monthly basis ranged from $200 to $400. It depended on the G Suite licenses needed.
After Google acquired Bebop, Hire was launched.
Google, in an email to its customers, said, “While Hire has been successful, we’re focusing our resources on other products in the Google Cloud portfolio. We are deeply grateful to our customers, as well as the champions and advocates who have joined and supported us along the way.”
Google Hire users will be able to use it more a year more, until 1st September 2020. Also, it will stop taking any payments for the product.
