First Official Image Of Galaxy S21 FE Is Out

Galaxy S21 FE 5G

In the meantime, the number of leaks at Samsung’s next major “Unpacked” event, which was planned for August, has increased significantly. Now a first official marketing image has been published by Samsung, on which the new Galaxy S21 FE can be seen.

The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE has been the focus of various speculations for a few weeks, as it was actually expected to launch quite soon. In the meantime, it is clear that the Korean manufacturer will only bring its “Fan Edition” smartphone of the S21 series onto the market with some delay for various reasons.

Launch in October

Since the preparations for the launch were well advanced before the postponement and in some cases larger numbers of certain components were already being manufactured, Samsung has already pushed the development of the design and the associated marketing materials a long way. Accordingly, some partners among the network operators have already been provided with detailed information.

The first official marketing image for the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE, which has now been published by Android Headlines, probably comes from such a source. The origin is likely to be a US-American network operator, through which advanced information about Samsung products is repeatedly made available to the public.

Four Colors And Plastic Casing

The picture shows a number of color variants in which the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE will be available in the States. Specifically, it shows the device in the colors purple, white, green, and black, whereby an output in the color blue should also be expected, which is only available in Europe.

The marketing render makes it clear that Samsung wants to use a plastic back cover again and that the area around the camera module is designed in the same way as with the other models of the S21 series, but is by no means as distinct, both physically as well as optically. In addition, the marketing image – unfortunately very limited in its resolution – suggests that the S21 FE could come with a housing made entirely of plastic.

As a result, Samsung could – as already expected according to previous reports – push the price down quite a bit, since cheaper materials could be used and a metal frame could be dispensed with. As far as we know, the Galaxy S21 FE will not go on sale until October, unlike originally planned and according to the latest reports, it could then have a Samsung Exynos SoC under the hood instead of the current Qualcomm Snapdragon 888, at least in Europe.
