On Friday Apple Inc said that some iPhone 6s and iPhone 6S Plus handsets might not power on owing to a failed component, and the firm is providing free repair on all such sets.
The makers of the iPhone said that the issue affects on certain serial numbers of the devices that are made between October 2018 and August 2019.
Apple launched the iPhone 6s back in the year 2015, and still continues to make the phone in India via Wistron Corp’s local unit in the technology hub of Bengaluru.
Some weeks back, Apple launched its newest phone, iPhone 11, but surprisingly it failed to capture much attention as many of the earlier iPhones have done.
It is being noticed that Apple is losing its grip on market to its competitors.
Through the years, Apple has maintained its aura and image of being the phone that is mostly used by the elite class. It has never compromised on its prices and quality for making its iPhones available at lower rates.
