The father of Zainab, Amin Ansari is filing a case against the private TV Channel, APlus for making a telefilm on his daughter.

Zainab, the six-year-old little angel was raped and murdered in Kasur. APlus decided to make a telefilm on her incident without her father’s permission. Thus Zainab’s father has decided to sue Aplus for making the telefilm.

Mr. Ansari said,  “The TV channel did not bother to seek my permission. I would not allow anyone to use the name of my daughter for one’s vested interest. I am going to sue the TV channel that has announced making a telefilm on Zainab.”

He said that if the telefilm is made the people will think that he has sold his daughter’s name to make money.

Not just the father is angry with the TV channel but also the local police and the social media is unhappy with the private channel’s decision to propagate this incident through a telefilm.

Furthermore, Amin Ansari will also sue a UK-based non-government organization (NGO) for misusing her daughter’s name for their own hidden interests.

“The UK-based NGO recently visited Kasur and did video recording in our locality. Its representatives visited the school of Zainab in the Munir Shaheed Colony as is shown in the video clip where they met the school administration, teachers, and students.”

Mr. Ansari said that neither the TV channel nor the NGO thought of asking his permission before starting all the filming.

The video clip shows how the NGO people are giving a lecture to students on child abuse. Then the students are raising their hands while waving NGOs pamphlets. The NGO representatives then distribute gifts to the students.

Zainab’s father feels that neither the NGO nor the channel has any right to misuse his daughter’s name for their own vested interests.
