On Friday, the biggest online video sharing platform YouTube announced that it will be providing $5 million aid to Pakistan in order to fight with the deadly disease.
The Chief Executive of YouTube Officer Susan Wojcicki wrote a letter to Prime Minister Imran Khan in which she appreciated the efforts and timely measures he took to control the spread of the coronavirus.
The chief executive emphasized that a joint effort can help driving out this pandemic disease, so she announced that YouTube will support Pakistan to get rid of COVID-19. Wojcicki said that the country will be provided with continuous support to control the spread of the virus as quickly as possible.
On 26th March, US Embassy announced new funds for Pakistan worth $1million to struggle with the pandemic disease.
The aid was announced through twitter by the US embassy in which they wrote that the United States of America will give $1million as a fund to Pakistan to fight against COVID-19. This announcement showed that the USA prioritized Pakistan in providing emergency aid to stop the spread of the virus.
US embassy also said on behalf of the US government that Pakistan will have the United States of America by its side to contain the coronavirus.
