The Chinese Ambassador Yao Jing calls Syed Amin Ul Haque the Federal Minister for Information Technology and Telecommunication in order to discuss things related to Information Technology and telecommunication and the matters of mutual interests.
As per the Minister, both Pakistan and China have always enjoyed their friendly relations and these ties will boost in the future.
He further emphasized that there is a need for boosting cooperation between China and Pakistan in the IT and telecommunication sector.
Pakistan wants to get benefits from the Chinese experience in the IT sector said Syed Amin Ul Haque.
He further added that they need China’s help in training the youth of Pakistan in the IT skills before starting a youth exchange program between the two countries.
Minister said that the environment of the Chinese companies is quite favorable to invest in the IT and Telecom sector and on the other hand Pakistan’s Information Technology and telecommunication have great potential.
Yao Jing praised the role that the Ministry of IT has played in promoting IT in the country and he also gave assurance regarding China’s collaboration with Pakistan in the IT sector.
The ambassador also assured that the people of China and the Chinese government will provide every support Pakistan in fighting against the global pandemic.
In a meeting, the minister thanked the Chinese government for sending important medical equipment to Pakistan. The meeting also involved some senior officers and the Secretary Ministry of IT and Telecommunication Shoaib Ahmad Siddiqui.
