Xiaomi Mi 9 has been spotted earlier in January which comes with Snapdragon 855 SoC, the phone appeared with the codename Cepheus.
Xiaomi Mi 9 has made going through the rumor mill since January however, we now have some official information about the device, Xiaomi’s Co-owner Lei Jun has posted a teaser on Weibo unveiling the launch date as February 20.
The company has also posted an image of Roy Wang with the phone showing triple rear camera. Xiaomi Mi 9 has triple rear camera setup with LED flash placed under the camera setup vertically aligned.
Xiaomi Mi 9 will have volume and power buttons on the right side of the phone, however, the left side button indicates smart assistant Xiaoai. According to Lei Jun, the new device will have faster charging as compared to Redmi Note 7 which was 18W, so we can expect it to be 27W.
Xiaomi Mi 9 is expected to come with Snapdragon 855 SoC with X24 Modem. The base model will offer 6GB+128GB variant which is reportedly priced at CNY 2,999 or $436 or 383 Euros.
