It is known to all that Xiaomi is releasing Mi Smart Band 6 along with a series of Mi 11 smartphones on March 29th, i.e. today. The Mi Smart Band 6 will come with WhatsApp and Telegram as pre-installed apps.
Last July, Xiaomu released the Mi Smart Band 5, which was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, this time the company is not expecting any such delay and is pumped to launch the band with new features.
Days before the launch, Xiaomi tweeted with an announcement that the Xiaomi 2021 New Product Launch would be held at “19:30 (GMT+8) on March 29.”
We already know that the device would come with model number XMSH15HM, a magnetic charger with a standard USB-A charging port, feature blood oxygen monitoring, support for Amazon Alexa, and 30 workout modes (those remain unrevealed).
The first release would start from China. It’s rumoured that only the Chinese variant would have an NFC chip on board. Moreover, there would be a SpO2 sensor, one of the most in-demand features since the spread of deadly COVID-19. It helps users to monitor their levels of oxygen.
The Mi Band 6 will also feature a Pomodoro Timer and will allow you to control your smart home devices.
The rest of the details would be known in a few hours. Let’s join the event and learn all about the upcoming Xiaomi devices.
