Xiaomi seems a little too hurry in announcing its next line of smartphones – the Xiaomi 12 series. Just a couple of days ago we heard of this new model – the Xiaomi 12 Mini – and today it appeared on the Chinese 3C certification site.

We don’t doubt that one of the models from the series will feature the new Snapdragon 898 SoC, but this mini model is definitely not that one. Instead, this 12 Mini is featuring the Snapdragon 870 SoC, still a good chipset, which will include Kryo 585 CPU and the ultra-fast Qualcomm Adreno 650 GPU.

The Xiaomi 12 mini landed on the Chinese 3C certification site with model number 2112123AC. The device will feature 67W wired fast charging, quite impressive. The device will also come with 5G network support. The device will also use UFS 3.1+LPDDR5 storage specifications.

The mini is not so mini with a 6.28-inch FHD+ flat AMOLED display, as we heard. It may have a 120Hz refresh rate and a 480Hz touch response. As we heard from some reports. this device will feature a quad-camera setup but don’t see renders with such a setup, we aren’t going to quote more from that source until we are certain about it.
