The crown of the world’s youngest prime minister will be crowned on the head of Sanna Marin who’s going to take the charge of the Prime Minister’s office of Finland next week.
The Social Democratic Party of Finland picked the thirty-four-year-old transportation minister to the take the charge of prime minister after Antii Rinne quit.
As per the details, Marin will become the head of a women-led coalition government in Finland. The government comprises five center-left parties and all of the parties are headed by the women.
Sanna Marin will be the youngest sitting prime minister in the world. It is pertinent to mention here that Prime Minister of New Zealand Jacinda Ardern is 39 and the Prime Minister of Ukraine Oleksiy Honcharuk is 35-year-old.
According to a report published by British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC), Marin brushed away questions about her age when speaking to the media persons and said, “I have never thought about my age or gender, I think of the reasons I got into the politics and those things for which we have won the trust of the electorate.”
Sanna Marin will be the third female Prime Minister of Finland. According to the reports by Finnish media, Marin was raised by a single mother and was the first person in her family to go to the university.
