Fawad Hussain Chaudhry—the Federal Minister for Science and Technology, through a Tweet, announced on Monday that two major solar panel firms of the world will establish their plants in Pakistan.
Mr. Chaudhry said, “good news gets lost in political plays, yet I am very happy that the world’s two major companies are setting up solar panel’s plants in Pakistan.”
The minister further said that the second-largest Lithium battery producer of China will also set up its workshop in Pakistan adding that the Lithium battery-powered buses will also be manufactured in Pakistan.
It is pertinent to mention here that the Federal Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Hussain Chaudhry was recently on a visit to China’s Beijing. During his visit, he met several Chinese Officials and business leaders of the country.
Another Tweet by the Ministry of Science and Technology mentioned that the Minister held a meeting with the representatives of the China Machinery Engineering Corporation in Beijing.
“The collaboration in manufacturing of the solar power units in Pakistan and assistance in agriculture precision pledged,” the tweet further added.
