Wednesday: PKR Appreciated by 10 Paisa Against USD
In the forex market today, the Pakistan Rupee (PKR) witnessed a hike of 10 paisa against USD and closed at PKR 160.54 per USD.
In the forex market today, the Pakistan Rupee (PKR) witnessed a hike of 10 paisa against USD and closed at PKR 160.54 per USD. The previous day’s rate was PKR 160.64 per USD.
It is further recorded that PKR witnesses a volatility-free session as a very little movement was recorded trading in a range of 63 paisa per USD showing an intraday high bid of 160.64 and an intraday Low offer of 160.40.
While within the Open Market, PKR was traded at 160.50/161.20 per USD.
On the other hand, PKR depreciated by 1.5 rupees to GBP and closed at PKR 220.51 per GBP. The previous day’s rate was PKR 218.99 per GBP.
Likewise, PKR also witnessed a dip by 7 paisa against EUR and closed at PKR 195.
It is also said that within the money market, the overnight repo rate towards the close of the session was 7.10/7.15%, whereas the 1-week rate was 7.05/7.10%.
