WB to Invest $2 Billion in Pakistan

The World Bank (WB) recently showed its interest in investing in different projects in Pakistan. The expected flow of funds is US$2 billion.

The World Bank (WB) recently showed its interest in investing in different projects in Pakistan. The expected flow of funds is US$2 billion.

This announcement came from Special Assistant to Chief Minister (SACM) on Information Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan, where she added that under this investment programme, 5G goals had been set.

The 5G goals include; girls education, growing health, green clean Pakistan, governance, and growth inclusive stunting.

This investment would be under the supervision of Punjab chief minister to overcome tourism, livestock, agriculture, education, construction, and e-governance related challenges.

As per the report, Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan also added that realizing the dream of digital Punjab would ensure transparency and elimination of corruption.
