The iconic cricketer Wasim Akram, who has the honour of serving the Pakistani team as its captain and the current president of Karachi Kings has taken the decision of forming a cricket academy in Multan.
Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has greatly ignored Wasim Akram for giving a role in the club, said that he is genuinely glad to have this time and opportunity for establishing this academy.
The objective for this sports facility is to bring out talent from the region, polish them in the best possible way and give the new talent hope for a brighter yet a practical future.
Wasim Akram took it to Twitter to made the announcement, where he posted:
This is not the first time that any Pakistani player has taken the decision of stepping forward to open his own academy. Earlier, Junaid Khan and Saeed Ajmal also established an example of determination by initiating an academy without spending a huge sum of money.
The facility established by Wasim Akram is expected to be of world class standards as Imran Khan and many more legendary cricketers are likely to make investment and make this the hub for Pakistani cricketers from the region.
