Wafaqi Mohtasib to Launch an App for Facilitating Citizens

Wafaqi Mohtasib would be launching a mobile application where citizens could easily launch their complaints just by following some steps.

A team from the National Information Technology Board (NITB) briefed about the new application to the Federal Ombudsman—Syed Tahir Shahbaz.

Wafaqi Mohtasib is a committee which comprises of the public advocates who could assist in resolving one’s problems about the federal government institutions. This app would be simplifying the process of lodging complaints, thus citizens would be able to get their issues addressed in a more effective way.

This app would permit an individual who wants to file the complaint by using pictures of the write complaint or documents regarding the complaint.

The application users wold be able to keep a track on the status of their complaint to check whether any action has been taken or not.

The application has been designed because the President of Pakistan had this wish of making the process of complaint filing and addressing the grievances of people in a smooth manner.

The app is expected to be launched soon for the general public.
