Sheikh Rasheed—the Minister for Railways has made the announcement that Pakistan Railways would be introducing 2 VVIP trains in next 6 months time.
He further informed that 20 new trains in the current year that is 2019 would be launched throughout the country for providing ease to the masses as it has already introduced some trains in the initial 3 months of its government.
While conversing with media the Minister of Railways said that the ministry has planned to introduce two VVIP trains within the span of next 6 months and an effective fuel and power tracking system would also be installed on the trains.
He also announced that the salaries of the railway’s police would also be brought to equivalence with that of the Punjab police.

Responding to a question Sheikh Rasheed said that railways has got some targets which includes the plan of earning 10 billion in this year and would be following some strategies for acquiring these goals in some specific time span.
Regarding the International Monetary Fund (IMF) the minister said that the government does not want to make use of the IMF option however owing to the suffering national economy, the government is trying hard to adopt this option on softer conditions.
He said that the financial grant from China and Saudi Arabia has given some support to the national economy and it would be getting more strengthen after the visit the of the Emirati Crown Prince—Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan to Pakistan which is expected today and hopefully the aid would also be announced.
