Velo Pakistan has introduced its digital music show Velo Sound Station, a celebration of pop music in the country. It is a new music platform in town.
As per the reports, the show has been produced by Strings front-man Bilal Maqsood. It already has 17k subscribers on YouTube.
Bilal Maqsood on his Instagram wrote that this is what I’ve been working on for the last 11 months and that he is excited for the fans to watch the show.
The first episode of Season 1 is already out. It features performances from Atif Aslam, Umair Jaswal, and Natasha Noorani.
Atif Aslam sang Kadi Te Hans which has been composed by music producer Ahsan Pervaiz and Aslam. Moreover, the additional lyrics are also written by the duo.
Umair Jaswal covered Alamgir’s old song Maine Tumhari Gagar Se. The music has been composed by Pervaiz.
Noorani performed an original song Baby Baby, written and composed by Bilal Maqsood. She performed in a powder pink suit and even the microphone is smothered in diamantes. So far, the song had received 0.7m views.
Likewise, each week, an episode will be released exclusively on YouTube. Fans can also listen to all these songs on all music streaming platforms in the country.
Velo Sound Station Season 1 will feature artists like; Sajjad Ali, Shamoon Ismail, Sarah Haider, Meesha Shafi, Abdullah Qureshi, and bands such as Aag and Takatak. Moreover, Uzair Jaswal, Aima Baig, classical female ballerina Nighat Chaudhry will also feature in this season.
