Urdu Website Inaugurated for Facilitating the Taxpayers


The Federal Board of Revenue—FBR Chairman—Muhammad Shabbar Zaidi has inaugurated the Urdu website of FBR for facilitating the taxpayers.

Mustafa Sajjad Hassan—the member FATE and the Chief FATE—Tehmina Aamer briefed Chairman FBR regarding the features of the Urdu website.

The Urdu website would be offering the online facilitating service to the taxpayers regarding the Income Tax, Customs and Sales Tax.

The Urdu version of the website has got special features, which contain a useful reservoir of information regarding customs and taxation.

With the inauguration of the Urdu website, the people could not just file their complaints in Urdu but could also seek responses of their respective queries in the national language of Pakistan.

The website provides facilitation to the people to read the Tax and Customs laws and rules, Circulars and SROs in the Urdu language.

The FBR chairman said that the revenue board would soon be acquiring the complete automation in all the areas which would definitely bring great ease for the taxpayers in the future.

The Urdu website could be accessed by clicking on the button of the FBR’s website fbr.gov.pk. the Urdu website could also be accessed into by typing urdu.fbr.gov.pk.
