The Urdu language tweets of Kensington Palace won many hearts.
The official Twitter account of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and the Royal Foundation has got more than 1.8 million followers who are kept updated about the activities of the Royal Family members.
Pakistanis got a surprise of their lives when the Twitter handle sent a couple of Tweets in Urdu sometime prior to Prince William and Kate Middleton for undertaking a visit to the country.
Kensington Palace’s first tweet posted informed the followers regarding the visit of the Royal couple to Agha Khan Centre in London.
The tweet contained a hashtag of #RoyalVisitPakistan at the end of the statement which mentioned that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge joined His Highness for a special event at the Agha Khan Centre, before their official visit to Pakistan at the end of this month.
Some hours later, in another tweet in Urdu language, Kensington Palace said that at the Agha Khan Centre the Duke and the Duchess of Cambridge met a variety of people from Pakistan.
While speaking to a group of Pakistanis at the Agha Khan Centre at a special reception hosted for them by His Highness at the Agha Khan in association with the Pakistan High Commission, the Duke and the Duchess of Cambridge said that they are excited to pay a visit to Pakistan and to meet its people and to experience its beautiful culture.
