During a meeting between the representatives of United Nations and Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan on Wednesday, it has been decided that UN will give $30 million funds for the ‘Kamyab Jawan Program’.
In a mission to empower Pakistan’s youth, the United Nations pledged its support to ‘Kamyab Jawan Program’. The UN said that 0.2 million Pakistani youngsters will be assisted financially.
The Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan thanked the representatives of United Nations for the announcement of funds.
Basically, the ‘Kamyab Jawan Program’ is meant to provide one million job opportunities to the youngsters of Pakistan through small and medium-sized enterprises (SME) sector.
An official of the department of Youth Affairs said that in this program, Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority (SMEDA) will find the top business ventures in the domestic and international market.
“Prime Minister’s Youth Affairs would extend its maximum support for improving technical and vocational training to the youth of Pakistan,” he added.
