Evan Spiegel, co-founder SnapChat, and a 26-year-old billionaire recently spilled out no one could ever expect; “I [Evan Spiegel] don’t want to expand into poor countries like India and Spain.” This unfriendly statement made Indians Uninstall Snapchat by shouting #UninstallSnapchat.
Anthony Pompliano was recently hired by SnapChat from Facebook. As of his capacity, Anthony was to find loopholes and make growth plans for the company. But he found some dirty secrets.
According to Anthony, the company had been fooling its stakeholders by exaggerating its growth level and that the higher management is also kept under shadows.
He was in a meeting where Evan was also seated. Anthony asked a pretty dope question. The employee was concerned what Evan plans to do with the slow growth of SnapChat in a growing country like India.
Instead of his plans to grow in India, the young founder boldly said what made Indians unhappy.
This app is only for rich people. I don’t want to expand into poor countries like India and Spain.
Soon after Evan’s comment, the statement went viral and led to a new hashtag; #UninstallSnapchat.

This 2-liner statement could create troubles for the company. India is moving with a pretty darn good speed in distributing mobile and internet usage. According to experts, the Indian internet market is expected to grow 2.5 timers by 2020.
