It has been reported that some unidentified suspects running a page of the social media platform Facebook have been looting the young people looking for teaching jobs in federal capital Islamabad.
As per the details, they publish job vacancies for the tuition teachers on the Facebook page, get people to pay for the registration for the vacant post and then block their contact numbers.
The details further said that the group makes the money from the people looking for a job by charging them a registration fee which is transferred through Easypaisa.
The Certified Internal Auditor of Pakistan (CIA) has been directed by the DIG Operations Waqaruddin Saeed to probe the incident.
“I needed a job and was looking for tuition jobs online when I came across this ad. I applied. They were asking for Rs10,000 in registration fees. I paid Rs7,000 and waited for two days. When I contacted them, my number had been blocked,” narrated one applicant.
