The traffic police have officially announced that over speeding and underage drivers will now be prohibited within the premises of the University of Karachi.
A section officer of the Karachi traffic police says that the people drive the vehicles at fast speed and drive without any driver’s licence inside the varsity.
He also states that they are taking actions against the rickshaw drivers and they are also stopping vehicles who do not have any registration plates in order to prevent crimes in university.
Up till now, fifteen people have been fined for not having a driver’s license and also those have been fined who have violated the traffic rules.
Especially the vehicles with black windows are a security risk said Dr Abdul Moiz, the KU campus officer.
It has been instructed to the officials to check every vehicle at the entry and exit points of the University of Karachi.
As per the latest development, the government is inclined to making more information technology parks in the country. This news was shared by Firdous Ashiq Awan, special assistant to PM on Information and Broadcasting.
She tweeted about this while referring to the recently inaugurated Science and Technology Park at NUST, which she mentioned would serve as a bridge between academia and industry.
