The UK Department of Health has announced measures to fight Coronavirus today while announcing the measures the department has blatantly said that “Coronavirus is a serious and imminent threat to public health.”
The department put restrictive measures on Coronavirus patients and said, the affected people with Coronavirus will not be free to leave and can forcibly be sent to isolation as they pose a serious threat to public health.
According to a spokesperson, “Our infection control procedures are world-class and NHS is well prepared to deal with Coronavirus cases.” He further said, “We are strengthening our regulations so we can keep individuals in supported isolation for their own safety and if public health professionals consider they may be at risk of spreading the virus to other members of the public. This measure will rightly make it easier for health professionals to help keep people safe across the country.”
WHO chief is also very much concerned about the Coronavirus outbreak, he visited Beijing on Monday in order to assess the latest developments regarding the outbreak. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said that there has been the transmission of disease witnessed from people who didn’t visit China lately which is of great concern for global authorities.
The world powers have to get together and work together in order to defeat the growing concerns of Coronavirus and stop its global spread, he also said to share all the information with WHO in real-time.
