Ufone has made the announcement to launch its GSM services in Miranshah and Mir Ali—North Waziristan, from the 9th of March 2019 that is tomorrow.
In an attempt to ensure that the people of North Waziristan get uninterrupted connectivity and communication, Ufone is all ready to launch Phase 1 of its services in the 2 cities.
Mr. Mahmood Khan—the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa along with the federal minister for Communications and Postal Services—Murad Saeed would be inaugurating the launch. The service would be expanded to other parts of the district also later this year.

With the target at enhancing the momentum of tele density growth in the rural areas of the country, the Prime Minister of Pakistan—Imran Khan announced the launch of cellular services during his visit to the area in the month of November back in 2018.
The spokesperson of Ufone said that they are happy to launch their services for their fellow Pakistanis in North Waziristan. He added that they are thankful to the government of Pakistan and Pakistan Army for their support for bringing mobile communications to the district.
