Ufone Introduced Self-Service Booth for Customers

If you are one of those people who hate to wait in the lounge of the customer service centres of your cellular firm for minor tasks, then there is good news for the customers of one of the best cellular company in Pakistan—which is Ufone. The Ufone customers could now at least take charge and solve petty issues on their own. It would be nothing different than taking the cash out or transferring funds through the ATM.

This machine dubbed as Virtual Teller Machine (VTM), is launched by Ufone which is basically the self-service booth which could serve the Ufone customers independently without any assistance from the customer support representative.

The VTM would let the customers do the following things:

  • Bill payment and Balance Recharge
  • Getting a new Prepaid SIM card
  • SIM Change
  • Super Card Load
  • The payment of PTCL Bill
  • Video-based customer support or assistance
  • Bio-metric Reverification

The self-service booths are present in almost eleven cities at thirty-seven different locations. Owing to the reason of these machines being sensitive, presently these VTMs could only be found at the sales and service centres of Ufone and joint shops in the cities mentioned as follows.

  1. Sialkot
  2. Abbottabad
  3. Rawalpindi
  4. Attock
  5. Peshawar
  6. Faisalabad
  7. Multan
  8. Gujranwala
  9. Islamabad
  10. Lahore
  11. Karachi

There is a probability that the company might increase the number of machines in the later phase to other cities too.

If one wants to reach the nearest machine in the area, then one could find it using either MyUfone App or Ufone’s website.

As per the media statement issued from Ufone, the telecommunication company is the pioneer in the telecom sector with the introduction of the Self-Service Booth (virtual teller machine), and it has got user-friendly and integrated customer convenient modules (Self-Service Booth, Digital & Web, Self-Care App).

The biometric-enabled Self-service booth not just accepts the cash but also perform transactions with the aid of debit and credit cards. It is also provided with a money dispenser for returning the change money.

A live video assistance option is also provided in the machine by the customer support people to help in case one faces any issue in performing any activity on the machine.

Through these Virtual Teller Machines, the customers of Ufone could also get Daewoo tickets reserved and bought for some terminal which includes Rawalpindi, Lahore, Faisalabad and Multan.

Ufone has not started the service yet however as per the communication department it would be started soon.
