Ubisoft Is Hosting A Digital Showcase On July 12 Revealing Exclusive Games & More

Ubisoft announced that it was exploring alternative methods to reveal what the company has in store for us, after E3 was cancelled this year due to the pandemic. We now know we can expect an event like this on 12 July. The publisher announced that Ubisoft Forward would be a fully digital showcase featuring news, reveals, and more about the game.

This takes place about a month after the initial planning of E3, but Ubisoft may just try to avoid June’s crowded schedule with several other publishers doing their own stuff too.

Geoff Keighley previously announced the Summer Game Fest, four months of news about the game and reveals from some of the biggest companies in the industry. Whether or not Ubisoft Forward is set to be a part of this event is unknown but it was not mentioned in the one lineup phase of Summer Game Fests.

While the publisher hasn’t announced what games to expect, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and Watch Dogs: Legion are likely to make appearances. Whether or not Skull & Bones and Beyond Good and Evil 2 will somehow escape from the dark basement Ubisoft has trapped them. Whatever the case, seeing what Ubisoft has on store for Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 will be fun.
