All entry visa to foreigners has been suspended by UAE from 17th March. Visa on arrival will be suspended by the UAE from March 19th until further notice. This was tweeted by the country’s mission in the UK and Australia. This is part of the “extra steps” of UAE to control the spread of Covid-19.
All entry visas have been suspended by the UAE to foreigners from 17th March. The exceptions are diplomatic passport holders and those eligible for visa on arrival.
UAE Embassy UK tweeted, “NEW: #UAE takes extra steps to combat the spread of #COVID19 that will affect travelers from the UK. From March 19 no visas on arrival will be issued until further notice. UAE residents are not affected.”
UAE will suspend the visa on arrival from 19th March that includes for Australians. However, those Australians living in the UAE with existing resident visas will not be affected.
