UAE releases at least 700 Pakistan prisoners from the jails

On the request of the Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan, the authorities of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has released as many as 700 Pakistani prisoners.

While talking to the media, Muazzam Ahmed Khan, the Pakistani ambassador to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), informed that these Pakistani prisoners have been released from the several jails in the UAE.

Mr Khan expressed hope that the prisoners UAE is going to release will be brought back to Pakistan soon and will celebrate the upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr with their families.

Back in February, the gesture was shown by the authorities of Saudi Arabia when the Kingdom ordered the immediate release of 2,107 Pakistani prisoners from the Saudi jails on the request of the Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan to the Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
