UAE makes COVID-19 Test Mandatory for Pakistani travelers

Travel advisory has been issued by the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in order to impose stricter coronavirus travel restrictions on visitors from all across the country. The travel advisory was shared with Pak airlines and the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) by the General Civil Aviation Authority of the UAE.

A coronavirus test report has been mandated by the UAE for the passengers before they board a UAE-bound flight. It is essential to conduct a test four days prior to the travel date.

ProPakistani reported that warning has been given by the aviation authority to the airlines that fail to comply with the orders and are not able to submit a test report. The violation can cause of 15-day flight ban in the UAE.

Also, the Pak airlines are ordered to take permission from the UAE authorities before they conduct a flight operation for the respective country.

It is pertinent to mention here that on August 12, UAE eased the coronavirus restrictions. The country permitted overseas residents to return back to the country once they got the approval. Since this permission there are many foreigners who have entered UAE with special exemptions or via an online registration system.

The people travelling to the UAE have to give their passport number and other important detail on a government website before travelling.

It was reported earlier in another article that free air tickets were given to the two hundred Pakistani laborers. This was been done with the efforts of the Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Overseas Pakistanis.
