A multiple-entry visa scheme has been introduced for all nationalities by the United Arab Emirates. The visa scheme is valid for five years. The aim is to turn UAE into a tourism hub.
The Dubai media office tweeted, “#UAE Cabinet chaired by @HHShkMohd, approves new amendment for tourist visas in #UAE.”
Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum referred to the UAE prime minister and ruler of Dubai.
Dubai Media Office said, “The new tourist visa will be valid for 5 years and can be used for multiple entries and is open for all nationalities.”

According to Sheikh Mohammad, UAE has presently attracted 21 million tourists annually.
Earlier, tourists were allowed to visit UAE with a free multiple entry visa for up to 90 days starting from the date of entry.
According to the UAE ruler, “This is part of wider plans to prepare the country for the next 50 years of development. The year 2020 will be different because it is the year of preparation for the next 50, the year in which we design the future of the Emirates.”
Earlier tourists from Africa, few South American nations, Arab countries outside the Gulf and European countries from outside the European Union and the former Soviet Union needed visas.
Back in October, Dubai had to host Expo 2020 which is a mega worldwide trade fair.
