Two patients including a 64-year-old man recovered from coronavirus infection in Sindh

The spokesperson of the PPP-led provincial government of Sindh, Syed Murtaza Wahab said that two patients have successfully recovered from the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) infection in the province of Sindh.

While addressing a press conference in Karachi, the government’s spokesperson said that there were 14 patients infected with coronavirus under treatment in the province.

He said that two patients out of them including a 64-year-old man have successfully recovered. This brings the number of the patient infected with the deadly virus in the province down to 12.

Wahab further said that the Health Department of Sindh has deployed as many as 80 officials at the Karachi International Airport so that the passengers coming from overseas could get tested through the thermal scanners.

He added that during the time period of the last 24 hours, three people had been shifted to the Ojha Hospital after being tested for the deadly virus.

On the other hand, the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has set up a 10-bed quarantine facility at the Jinnah International Airport Karachi, under the instructions of the World Health Organization (WHO) amid the global coronavirus outbreak.
