On Monday at Ayyub Medical Complex Abbottabad, two doctors have been infected with COVID-19.
Dr. Ali Raza spokesperson of the Young Doctors Association is the one who has been tested positive for the coronavirus.
The total number of doctors affected with coronavirus in the Ayyub Medical Complex has reached 46 after the addition of two more cases.
On Sunday, 256 healthcare workers were tested positive for COVID-19 and now the total tally of the coronavirus cases among them medical staff have reached up to 4,114.
Doctors are one who gets most affected by the deadly virus as compared to the nurses, as per the report prepared by NIH (National Institute of Health). In the last twenty-four hours, 139 doctors have been infected with the virus and only 25 nurses have been tested positive with COVID-19.
So far, 501 nurses and 2,466 doctors have contracted the virus. It also showed that 1,147 workers of the health facilities have been tested positive with the virus.
Among all the infected health staffers; 254 are in the hospital and are undergoing treatment while 2,247 have quarantined themselves at their homes and 249 are in stable condition.
