Turkish President is to visit Islamabad on the 13th of February, as per the reports of local media.
As per an interview with the Turkish news agency, Anadolu, Imran Khan had expectations that the visit of the Turkish President would further be strengthening the bilateral relations between the two countries.
He told the Anadolu Agency that they are anticipating that President Erdogan in the middle of February and when he would be arriving he would be bringing opportunities for the business division. He further added that they would have Pakistani businesses and investors meeting with their Turkish counterparts.
PM Khan said that the idea was to boost trade. He also said there are numerous areas where Turkey could help Pakistan for instance in the sector of mining. He further added that Pakistan is a country which is abundant of minerals, however, they have not explored these different minerals like gold and copper.
PM Khan stressed that mining was one area he wanted to emphasize upon during the visit of the Turkish President but there were other issues too. He said that they want technology transfer from Turkey in different areas, so it would be a detailed visit. He further mentioned that all sorts of ways of economic relations would be discussed, besides the discussion on the strategic and diplomatic ties.
