The Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has reached Islamabad on Thursday. He is on his 2-day official visit to the country.
PM Khan has received the Turkish President at the Nur Khan Airbase. He was accompanied by the members of the federal cabinet. PM Khan personally drove the Turkish President to the PM’s House.
President Erdogan was welcomed with a guard of honour on his arrival at the PM house.
The Turkish President is accompanied by a high-level delegation which consists of the cabinet members and the senior government officials other than the heads and the CEOs of the leading Turkish corporations.
President Erdogan is visiting Pakistan on the invitation of PM Khan.
During his visit, the Prime Minister of Pakistan and the President Erdogan would be having a one-on-one meeting, after which they would be co-chairing the sixth session of the Pakistan-Turkey-High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council in the joint cabinet format.
As per sources, the Turkish President would also be meeting with the President Dr. Arif Alvi on dinner hosted in his honor upon his visit to Pakistan. Both the nations would be signing many agreements on railways, defense, economy, information and trade.
