Turkish President Postpones his Pakistan Visit

The Turkish President—Recep Tayyip Erdogan has postponed his visit to Pakistan for later this month, as per the Russian news agency Sputnik.

The visit has been postponed in mid of the ongoing offensive launched by Turkey against the Kurdish militant groups in Northern Syria.

The visit was delayed after a phone call between the Prime Minister of Pakistan—Imran Khan and the Turkish President, the Russian news agency informed, citing anonymous sources.

The high-level dialogue between the two sides would now be held at some later date in time.

According to the diplomatic sources previously, President Erdogan was scheduled to reach Pakistan on a 2-day visit on the 23rd of October.

PM Khan had invited the Turkish President to visit the country.

During his visit to Pakistan, it was expected that there would be some high-level meetings with the top political and military leadership of Pakistan.

As per the latest development, a Canadian firm has made a big offer to Pakistan, regarding the Naya Pakistan Housing Scheme.

The international company has shown trust in the incumbent government for introducing a low-cost housing scheme.
