The government of Punjab has declared new directives for curbing the spread of the coronavirus, as per the new rule the COVID-19 recovered patients will require a travel permit before travelling in or outside the province, as per the reports of local media.
The announcement was made by the home department that the recovered patients of the COVID-19 will now be requiring a special permission letter for travelling which includes the ones who belong to the various parts of the nation and are willing to enter into the province of Punjab.
The residents of the province of Punjab, who have fully recovered from the virus, will require a permit from the concerned authorities for travelling to the other province. Furthermore, the discharged patients from the quarantine centres in all the other provinces would be allowed to get an entry into Punjab if they would have the necessary permission letter issued from the government.
As per the home department, the recovered patients could make travel after they get the required letter from the deputy commissioners of their respective districts. The home department has issued the orders to the chief secretaries and to the police chiefs of the various provinces.
