The app was founded by the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) for providing people with smarter solutions relating their traffic issues and questions.

Rai Ejaz on Tuesday told that the summary drafts of the electronic licensing system have been sent to departments and the CTP is all set for implementing the electronic system.  All the necessary preparations in regard to the implementation have been done.

He mentioned that the launch of this new ticketing system would be discontinuing the old tickets issued by the Pakistan post office. This initiative would also help in combating forgery or prank.

The CTP has also sent a letter to the Punjab Traffic DIG asking him to choose the banks that would have e-tickets. They also asked the official to ensure the availability of e-tickets at all the branches of the selected banks.

This is an amazing initiative by the City traffic police of Lahore. If this implementation gets successful and proves advantageous then its diameter of implementation should be expanded beyond.

This electronic system would not be equipping the traffic control department with technology but would also be digitalizing it to prevent the old systems.
