Rumor has it that Toyota Indus Motor Company (IMC) is launching a manual version of Corolla Altis 1.6L variant for its Pakistani customers. However, Toyota has not officially announced this.
Now as per reports, Toyota did manufacture 5-10 units of manual Altis 1.6L. But it was just for testing purposes. There are a few Toyota dealers who sold the car at the price of PKR 3,049,000. Now chances are that if there is a successful test run of the car, then the company might officially launch it in H1 2020.
It is pertinent to mention here that the withholding tax for filers for Corolla 1.6 Altis Manual is PKR 50,000. However, the withholding tax for non-filers is PKR 150,000. Once the car is booked, it will be delivered to the customers in 10 to 15 days’ time.

We must remind our readers that Toyota will soon discontinue 1.3L variants of Corolla. Once it is discontinued we might see the launch of all-new Toyota Yaris in Pakistan. The car has been many times on Pakistani roads for testing.
