The increasing price of the dollar has made the company to rethink the prices of its cars, the company Indus Motors which assembles Toyota cars in Pakistan has raised the prices of its cars for the third time in one year amid Rupee depreciation.
A whopping increase of 50,000 will be applied on Toyota Corolla XLI and XLI AT, new the cars would be sold at Rs1.94 million and Rs2.02 million, for Corolla XLI and Corolla XLI AT respectively.
That was even less as compared to increase in Corolla GLI models, the company has increased the prices of Corolla GLI by Rs100,000. Corolla Altis 1.6 has also seen an increase of Rs100,000 while Altis 1.8 MT and CVT has seen an increase of Rs150,000.
Grande MT SR and Grande CVT have seen an increase of Rs150,000 and Rs135,000 respectively. Toyota Fortuner Diesel will be sold with an increase of Rs250,000. The prices of IMV variants are increased between Rs110,000 and Rs200,000.
Fortuner High has crossed the Rs6 million mark after a huge jump in price by Rs250,000, now the car would be sold at Rs6.1 million.
The company has previously increased the prices of its cars in March 2018, the fresh upward trend in prices would affect the consumers also the company sales.
