The project to launch tour buses in Islamabad and Rawalpindi was announced on January 2017. Now tomorrow on December 20th Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation (PTDC) is launching the tour buses in the twin cities of Pakistan. It took almost a year, but the project is finally launching.
The goal of the project is to promote tourism in Islamabad and Rawalpindi. Also, the aim is to further enhance the current tourism facilities. As per Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation students of the twin cities will be given special discount offers so that they have a chance to experience the historic known places of the cities.

At the moment for this project, nine buses are being launched. They will be further increased with time.
Private School staff has been met by the authorities and they have appreciated this project.
The tour points for this project are finalized.
They are Faisal Mosque, Shakarparian, Islamabad Zoo, Lok Versa, Daman e Koh, F9 Park, Lakeview Park, Ayub Park, and Taxila Museum.
PTDC is anticipating a huge crowd on the first day of the launch. The locals are extremely excited and are looking forward to the tour buses to start operating. It is claimed that the buses would have state of the art facilities.
The buses will be inaugurated at Pakistan China Centre. In Rawalpindi, the government has also announced the launch of a new parking plaza to control the parking issues of the city.
Other than this in Lahore Punjab Government has added another route to its bus service that is Wagah Border.
