Tiger Woods Wins 82nd PGA Title Equals World Record

Tiger Woods has won the official PGA tournament in Japan the “Zozo Championship” and reaches 82nd victory in official PGA tournament.

Tiger Woods has been a favorite golf player in the U.S. for many years, he has been going through severe knee injuries and fitness problems for years, Tiger Woods has not won any Major Golf Tournaments since 2008 until he made a comeback in 2019. He has won a Major PGA tournament, “Master Tournament” in April 2019 as well.

The 43-year-old champion beats Hideki Matsuyama to won the Zozo Championship in Japan.

Woods has also won 15 Major tournaments in Golf, gradually Woods has been climbing the world rankings again, Woods now comes at number 6 in the world rankings, up from position 10 after winning this tournament. Tiger Woods also equaled the world record of most PGA wins, held by Sam Snead (1912-2002). It is also speculated that Tiger Woods is just around the corner to become the world record holder, he just needs one more PGA official tournament win to get the top of the list.
