As many as three more crew members of the Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) have reportedly been tested positive for the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).
According to the details, the affected flight attendants were put into the quarantine in a local hotel in the federal capital of Islamabad for two days upon return to the country from Manchester on board a repatriation flight.
The details further said that during the quarantine period of two days, all the members of the crew took a test for the coronavirus, which turned out to be positive.
A spokesperson of the Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) confirmed that the news saying that all the crew members of the national airline were shifted to a hospital for further medical treatment.
It is pertinent to mention here that the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) has so far taken the lives of as many as 281 people and affected more than 13,320 people across Pakistan.
