According to the statement issued by US Embassy Minister Counselor for Public Affairs Lisa Heller, the government of the United States wants more students from Pakistan to study in US universities.
Heller said that a 5 percent increase has been recorded in the enrollments of Pakistani students this year compared to the last year. “Pakistani is among the fastest emerging market places of origin for international students in the United States,” she added.
As per the statement issued by the embassy, the government of the United States is committed to supporting the educational opportunities and academic exchanges for Pakistani students from all backgrounds.
It is pertinent to mention here that the US Embassy, Education USA, and the US Educational Foundation in Pakistan (USEFP) celebrated an International Education Week (IEW) last week.
