The second phase of the Free Trade Agreement between Pakistan and China comes into effect

It has been reported that the second phase of the Pakistan-China Free Trade Agreement (FTA) has come into effect.

As per the details of the second phase, the Pakistani manufacturers and traders are now allowed to export over three hundred products on zero duty to the huge Chinese market.

Both of the countries China and Pakistan have successfully completed all the legal procedures and formalities to start the implementation of the Free Trade Agreement (FTA).

According to the details, Islamabad and Beijing signed a protocol for the implementation of the agreement during the last visit of the Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan to the neighboring country China.

It is pertinent to mention here that Pakistani manufacturers and traders are already allowed to export as many 724 products without a duty to China under the first Free Trade Agreement (FTA) signed between the Islamabad and Beijing in 2006.
