The New building of Sindh Assembly destroyed due to Rain


Earlier today, news came out that some parts of the new building of the Sindh Assembly have been completely destroyed following the August rains in Karachi.

According to the details, the assembly session could not be held in the new building today as the generator was not working in the morning.

After a heavy rainfall hit Karachi in the last week of August, water had accumulated inside the building. The water was not cleared in time due to which there is wreckage inside the building.

Most of the furniture has been ruined and the wiring system is also not working anymore. Therefore, the building has been closed temporarily in order to repair the damages that the rain has caused in the new building of the Sindh Assembly.

On the other hand, PTCL collaborates with Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Center in order to spread breast cancer awareness. In this regard, a special seminar was held today.
